Just back from a PHENOMENAL weekend in NC and a reunion with my closest friends from high school. I'm certainly not the first person to extoll the virtues of old friends, but the sweetness of these friendships was a revelation to me. This weekend would have been fun if all we did was giggle about the past, and we did plenty of that. Miraculously, though, I found that I love them as much for who they are now as who we were then.
